MONDAY’S LARGE TRASH CURBSIDE PICKUP will resume the first Monday of each month beginning in January 2014. Residents are required to call the Public Works Department no sooner than 1 week prior to the collection date to schedule. Residents must call and schedule BEFORE placing any items curbside.
2014’s Monday Large Trash Curbside Collection Dates: January 6, February 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, August 4, September 8 (September 1 is a holiday, so we will collect the following Monday), October 6 and November and December collections are suspended to concentrate on Fall Leaf Collection
SATURDAY DROP OFF is available every Saturday from 9 until 12 noon beginning January 4, 2014. Strictly enforced will be the requirement to present identification (NJ Driver’s License preferred) to prove residence within the Borough. You are limited to 1 residential drop-off per household, per identification each Saturday.
ACCEPTABLE MATERIALfor Saturday Drop-off and Curbside Collection include: beds, furniture, plastic toys, mowers, small machinery, bicycles, etc. All non-pressure treated wood products must be no longer than 4 feet in length. No concrete, asphalt, bricks or stones, construction debris, carpet and no electronic equipment. The Borough does not accept pressure treated wood.
POLICY FOR CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS
Residents disposing of construction/demolition debris that does not require a dumpster as determined by the Construction Official will be required to dispose of construction debris at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex, 2098 Burlington Columbus Road in Florence, NJ.
