Fall leaf collection will continue in Zone 4 as soon as weather permits, after the completion of Zone 4 the Borough will be going back through Zone 1.
Residents are reminded of the Leaf Collection Regulations:
Leaves are required to be in a fenced ring, constructed of wire or plastic mesh, placed 2 feet from the edge of the road. Leaf ring openings shall face the property and not the roadway. Under no circumstances should leaves be placed in the roadway or on top of storm drain inlets. Leaves will be collected by districts once in the fall and once in the spring. Once collection is deemed complete in the district by the Superintendent, it shall be the responsibility of the property owner to dispose of any additional leaves. If homeowners cannot have leaves raked in time for their collection, they should leave them un-raked in their yard until spring or make other arrangements to have them removed. If using a landscape service, have them remove the leaves. To save time and money, try sharing a leaf ring with your neighbor.
