Fire Department
This all volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1965 and is the sole fire suppression force for the Borough of Medford Lakes, a 1.25 mile square community located in the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey.

Historic Preservation Commission
On September 25, 1996, Borough Council adopted ordinance number 227 establishing the Lakes Historic District in the Borough of Medford Lakes.

Planning Board

Tax Assessor
The Borough of Medford Lakes now shares assessment services with Medford Township.

Tax Collector
The New Jersey State Statutes charges the Tax Collector with collecting funds needed to support Local Government, County Government, School Districts and Fire Districts.

Wastewater
The Borough manages wastewater (sewage) at a Treatment Plant built in the 1990’s. It is a Bardenpho (5-stage) system which is licensed by the NJDEP.
